His independent music draws from acoustic rock, folk, and indie genres and is crafted with melodic instrumentation and thoughtful lyrics. He has performed in numerous venues across the US and abroad in the UK. Russell also actively composes for theater, advertising, film, television, and gaming.

Tracking for new album done!

It's been quite a while, just over 5 years to be exact, since Turn released. Definitely time for something new. After several months in the studio and lots of tracking, I'm excited to have all material for my new album recorded and sent off to Jordan Richter (mixing engineer for Turn) in Portland. Keep an eye out... I'm looking to release the album later this summer. Very happy to be sharing some new material.
